I’m Jon Walpole and I’m very pleased to introduce myself to you. Woodworking is a huge part of my life. It has been for more than thirty years. It started out small and without any fanfare. I am a self taught woodworker and because of that I have spent much time trying to pick up any tips or skills by watching, reading, talking, and doing. I guess I have always been the kind of guy who is either building something or thinking about building something.
My workshop has been in and out of our basements, garages, sheds and then finally moved to a dedicated shop building where it has stayed for about the last fifteen years. Inside the shop is every tool known to mankind (or at least that’s what my wife says).Although I think there’s a couple more that I still don’t have. The shop is my favorite place in the world. Maybe some day it will even be organized with things put away and the sawdust swept!
My wife and I are very excited about the opportunities that Eureka offers. We pray that it will be a launching pad for a very satisfying undertaking. While possibly branching out with more products in the future, as we may be guided.
At this point, if you were to contact us, either Gail (my wonderful wife) or I would answer your call. That is unless you were to drop by. Then you might be greeted (in a friendly way) by another member of the family, Heidi, our German Shepherd. As we see it Gail is to hold the office together and to greet new friends while I slave away in the shop and Heidi is our good companion
